Delicious churros I got mine filled with dulce de leche, but they also have chocolate, cajeta, and plain! I also recommend getting a hot chocolate to go along with it! I got the French styled hot chocolate which is the thickest in consistency & it is so delicious, still dreaming about it. You can sit inside but there’s also a small plaza in front if you want to take your order to-go which is what I did. Staff was so kind and welcoming & service is fast! Also note that they only take cash.

Get there early. If you don't wanna stand online for a long time. The lines can go down the building, but we got there early in the morning. Since we saw the line late at night, the churros are delicious, and you can get them filled with different creams or plain. We had them playing with hot chocolate, and dipped them in and they were exquisite.

A Churro Heaven in San Miguel de Allende While exploring Queretaro, locals insisted we couldn't miss Cafe San Agustin during our visit to San Miguel de Allende - and they were absolutely right. This charming cafe, nestled in the heart of San Miguel, has built its reputation on their churros, and after experiencing them firsthand, I understand the buzz. The highlight was undoubtedly their perfect pairing of churros and hot chocolate. Their hot chocolate deserves special mention - rich and velvety, it served as the perfect companion to the churros. Beyond their signature items, what stood out was the warm, attentive service. The staff made me and my fiancee feel welcomed, and their genuine hospitality added to the overall charm of the place. We even got to meet Margarita Gralia, who owns the place. For those visiting San Miguel de Allende, Cafe San Agustin isn't just another cafe - it's a must-visit destination. When even people from Queretaro are recommending it, you know it's something special. Whether you're a churros enthusiast or simply looking for a delightful cafe experience, this place delivers on all fronts.

The churros and hot chocolate were both delicious! We visited Chocolates y Churros during an evening food tour, it was a great way to end the night! The restaurant was always busy when we walked past it so you should definitely anticipate waiting a while to be seated, however I think it would be worth it!

The food was ok but the churros were sooooo good. Old school vibes too and CASH ONLY! Staff was friendly, and very fast with the orders. Can’t stress enough how nice the place looked too. Walkable from our hotel and cozy too.

Exceptional experience! The churros and chocolate were absolutely fantastic – perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired with rich chocolate. We also enjoyed the club sandwiches, which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A highlight of our visit was meeting the owner, Margarita Gralia. She is incredibly classy and welcoming, making us feel right at home with her warm hospitality. Her passion for the restaurant is evident in every detail. Overall, it was a delightful visit, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and a charming atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Delicious churros! There is both a dine-in restaurant and a takeout line. The line gets very long, but when we were there, it moved quickly. Mexican chocolate with three churros were so so good

We were looking for a place with reasonably priced high-quality hot chocolates and found this place. We didn't even know it was owned by actress Margarita Gralia who my wife recognizes from watching novellas growing up. The service was good and the hot chocolates were far superior too many probably most. The churros were delicious as well and the price for a hot chocolate in three churros seemed shockingly reasonable.
